House Rules
To maintain the highest standards of conduct in our club, the
following House Rules have been established as a guide for our members to observe while using the club.
1.All Members in good standing will be admitted to the club. All other persons must be accompanied by a member in good
standing and signed in upon entry.
2.Any person seeking admission to the club must present a valid membership card, when requested.
3.Guests must be signed in by a member in good standing at the bar. Guests will be permitted a total of three(3) visits per calendar year. Upon the fourth (3rd) visit the guest will be required to complete an applicationfor membership and pay the corresponding dues. A guest must leave the club at the same time as the sponsoring member. The three visits per year do not apply to club sponsored events.
4.Guests may not play small games of chance in the bar and may not personally purchase any drinks – all drinks must be purchased by a member
5.Candidates for membership can only enter the club as guests with a member until such time they would be accepted or rejected by a majority vote of the membership. Any candidate for membership who has been rejected by a majority vote of membership will not be allowed in the club and any dues paid will be refunded.
6.Minors are not permitted in the club after 8:00 PM. Minors are not permitted to sit at the bar at any time.Under no circumstance will a minor be allowed to play small games of chance. Host member of a minor or guest is responsible for the conduct of them as well as for any damage to club property by the minor or guest.
7.No one under the age of 16 allowed to shoot pool
8.This is a smoking establishment – Per the Clean Indoor Air Act (CIAA), smoking will not be restricted due to a minor coming into the club
If there is a special event that includes the public there will be no smoking in the club. Notice will be posted of said events
9.Only alcoholic beverages that may be consumed on Club Property are those purchased from the club.
10.Beverages may not be brought onto the club premises without the expressed permission of the Board of Directors.
11.The hours of the club will be posted. Hours of operation may be changed at any time by the Officers of the club and the Bar Stewart. Members shall honor the hours of operation and vacate the club one half hour after last call or as directed by the bartender, Officers or Bar Stewart.
12.The Bartender on duty shall have the right to stop the sale of any commodity to any person when it is deemed advisable to do so.
13.Only authorized people shall be allowed behind the bar or in the kitchen. Authorized people shall be club officers, Bar Steward or people exempted by the Bartender on duty.
14.No Member shall open the door to allow anyone into the club. Only the bartender on duty, Bar Stewart and
any officer are to open the door
15.The Bar Steward or Club Employee is required to notify any member who is in violation of the house rules.
Should the notification be ignored, grievance should be filed with the grievance committee.
16.Neversink Gun Club property may not be removed from the premises without written approval of the Board
of Directors.
17.The use of profane or abusive language or fighting is prohibited and can be grounds for suspension or
termination of club privileges.
18.Members will be charged for any damage caused by the member or their guest. Club privileges will be
suspended until restitution is received.
19.Any complaints about the club, club employees or the club operation shall be referred to in writing to the
Board of Directors.
20.Neversink Gun Club has a “ZERO” tolerance drug policy. Anyone caught in possession or using illegal
narcotics in the club or on club property will lose their membership privileges. There will be no warning.
21.When there is a violation of the House Rules. The offending member(s) shall be subject to investigation of
the Grievance committee. If found that there is a violation bt the grievance committee the discipline action
will be as follows – 1st offence 10 days suspension, 2nd offence 30 days suspension and 3rd offence will be
membership revocation
